About this role: Award winning firm is looking for Architects with Higher Education experience.
A well established and prestigious NYC Architecture firm based in Manhattan, is looking to hire a talented architect (6-14 years) to work on high-profile Higher Education/Institutional projects. This award-winning firm is extremely competitive and has developed a reputation for producing refined, high-quality projects locally and across the world.
Key responsibilities:Working as part of the design team to ensure the organized and speedy delivery of projects from the early design stages until its completion. Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple projects concurrently.Manage junior staff working on all project stages.Coordinate project documentation with consultants.Review design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques and costs with the design team.
Skills and experience:A professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch/M. Arch)A minimum of 6 years of post-graduate experience.Background in Academic/Institutional projects is desired. Ability to understand and translate design intent into technical documents.Experience across all project phases from concept design to construction.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Revit proficiency is a big plus.
