📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A well established Los Angeles Architecture and Design firm with a strong pipeline of work is looking for an Urban Design to join their team. The successful person will take on a wide range of Urban Design and Planning work and will have the opportunity to progress their career into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Urban Design projects from concept through to completionGenerate innovative design concepts and proposals that integrate urban design principles, sustainability and community engagementPrepare and present design drawings, renderings, and presentations to clients and relevant stakeholdersParticipate in new business opportunities to win new projects.Mentor and help train junior staff
Skills and Experience: Bachelors in Urban Design, Architecture, Planning or a related fieldProven track record in urban design, preferably within community projectsProficiency using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GISStrong visual communication skillsAbility to thrive in a collaborative team environment
