📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions as needed.• Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure timely detection and response to anomalies.• Conduct system analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our DevOps practices.• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.• Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.• Proven experience in DevOps methodologies and practices.• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.•
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Grafana.• Certification in DevOps or related field (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate).
