Are your favorite vibes in the studio, surrounded by best-in-class equipment and the funniest people you know? Then Betches might be the home for you! Betches Media is looking for a driven, creative, and passionate Senior Podcast Producer to lead production and post for several of Betches’ hit podcasts. The ideal candidate has considerable experience producing and editing audio and video, is obsessed with quality, and is brimming with original ideas to help take our podcasts to the next level.

Our Senior Podcast Producer will work hand-in-hand with our hosts to create powerful and hilarious content, providing clear production direction and creating episode outlines each week that align with the Betches brand. Our Senior Podcast Producer will also edit audio and video content for our podcasts, and have technical studio knowledge and experience. The Senior Producer will also utilize their knowledge and experience to mentor, support, and advise fellow team members.The ideal candidate will also be growth-minded, filled with ideas to help all of our podcasts chart while paying close attention to metrics.

The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of the social landscape. Our Senior Podcast Producer will work closely with the podcast, video, and social teams to adapt our podcast content for audiences across various platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube), and keep up with industry trends. Time management and attention to detail is also a must — our Senior Podcast Producer will also source guests for podcasts, oversee a studio calendar, and be responsible for scheduling podcast content.

Our Senior Podcast Producer should be proactive, creative, collaborative, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, accountable, enthusiastic — not to mention a Betches fan and a lover of all things comedy.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead production on assigned series, directing remote and in-studio audio and video content and creating outlines that are creative, fun, and primed for successLead post-production on assigned series, editing clean and dynamic audio and video content with an ear and eye towards socialManage day-to-day responsibilities of podcast production (i.e. guest procurement, creating outlines, scheduling, post)Work closely with hosts to create best-in-class content, providing regular and constructive feedback with an eye towards growthWork alongside social and video teams to create content that’s optimized and promoted across platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)Support podcast team with new ideas to grow podcast audience and listenershipGuest and host episode prep – through topic ideation, sponsorship, guest screening, and outline reviewWork with marketing and content teams on social-forward strategies to improve and reach new audiences

Qualifications

8+ years experience producing podcasts (video experience is an advantage)Strong interest and fluency in Betches Media podcast networkSeasoned audio and video editor, fluent in Adobe AuditionTechnical understanding of audio recording equipment and hosting platforms (i.e. Megaphone, Apple Connect, etc.)Experience creating podcast content for social video platforms (i.e. TikTok, YouTube)Considerable understanding of the social landscape, as a consumer and producerAn obsession with production qualityStrong creative skills in segment producing, script and outline writing, as well as host prep and directionSharp eye for talent and guests who will bring compelling storiesPassion for working with and sourcing a network of diverse talent, bringing unique voices into the Betches communityStrong organization and communication skillsExperience managing production responsibilities across multiple showsAbility to work efficiently on deadline; adaptability to varying workflows and editorial demandsExperience working in media preferred

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this role is $80,000 - $105,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following perks below.
