Role Description
We are looking for a talented Music Scout / A&R to join our creative team. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some remote work where applicable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for discovering new musical talent, developing relationships with relevant industry players, and coordinating and negotiating contracts and deals.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an A&R, musical scout, or related role in the music industryStrong knowledge and passion for the current music industry trends and styles across a variety of genresExcellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with artists, managers, agents, and other industry professionalsAbility to identify and sign new musical talent with a proven track record of artist development Ability to negotiate deals and contracts while prioritizing artist needsExceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while staying detail-orientedBachelor's degree preferred in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field(s)Positive attitude, team-player, self-motivated, creative, and flexible mindset
