THE ROLE

As an Engineering Designer you will take direction from the lead engineer, you must have great verbal skills, be precise, creative, organized, able to meet deadlines, and handle stress. This role will be responsible for creating and maintain 3D and 2D drawings per company standards.

Essential Job Functions

Create and maintain 3D models and drawings per standards. Create and implement engineering change orders. Review design drawings and specifications. Prepare shop drawings for Engineering approval and fabrication using SolidWorks. Prepare B.O.M. Field measure and layout. Multitask.

Education And Experience Requirements

Proficient 2D drawing and 3D modeling ability through use of SolidWorks. Prior work experience with Solid Works required. Have an understanding of weld callouts. Structural steel background preferred. Strong communication and math skills. Must be detail oriented, accurate and organized. Must be able to create shop drawings. Travel required in some instances. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must work well as a team. PDM experience preferred.
