Summary

Maintain all aspects of the store operation including safety, sales, service, parts, operations, inventory, rentals, employment issues and marketing.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Ensure that the store is opened and closed each business day to ensure proper security and customer service. Coach and lead sales employees, including personal sales, to meet or exceed sales and margin goals. Manage the parts and service department including the warranty process to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded, productivity is high and customers have a positive experience. Ensure that all store standards are consistently met including, but not limited to: safety, cleanliness, security, customer service, cash handling, banking, regulatory compliance, etc. Ensure that products are ordered in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure that products are properly received, stocked, and priced when they come in. Including assembly of trailers. Assist customers in making the best trailer choice based on needsHighly motivated leader capable of motivating others to achieve company goalsUse your management and leadership skills to develop staff and grow dealership revenueBe a visible leader in the dealership and interface with customers and employeesForecast, manage, and maintain existing inventory and incoming productsCoordinate display of all trailers and parts at dealershipStrong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflictMaintain overall continuity of Sales and Service DepartmentOversee Office Administrator in all aspects of clerical dutiesAdhere to all policies and procedures referring to cash handling and bank deposits. Attend Trade Shows, Sale Barns, Co-ops, Veterinarians, Farm Expos, Tractor Pulls, etc. to help drive overall sales initiative of the DealershipWork week to include Monday thru Saturday (excepting company holidays), recognizing that the store should be properly staffed at all times

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Prior management and sales experienceValid Driver’s LicenseAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred3-5 years management experience in a retail or sales environment preferred3-5 years of sales experience preferred

Other Skills And Abilities

Drive Store Revenue: Lead and manage store team in meeting and exceeding personal and team revenue and margin goals including total revenue, trailer sales, service revenue, parts revenue & ancillary revenue.

Customer Service: Foster an environment of accountability for customer service. Actively lead the store team by personally demonstrating customer focus, owning problem resolution, and building customer brand loyalty through exemplary service with a smile.

Control Expenses: Follow company directives, policies and procedures for inventory control, supply purchasing, labor and other controllable expenses.

Human Resources: Ensure that the store is fully staffed with qualified employees. Drive timely completion of required training by all employees as well as their understanding and execution of content. Follow Human Resources policies & procedures providing a healthy work environment.

Safety & Security: Maintain a safe & secure store environment for all employees, customers, and visitors. Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used. Properly trains all employees on safety policies and practices and enforces compliance. Ensure that company security procedures are followed. Responsible for securing company assets.
