Rapid Response Team Fleet & Operations Manager

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the fleet of vehicles (Mobile Ministry Centers, Pick-up trucks, Vans, Campers, cargo trailers) to be deployment ready, including repair and scheduled maintenance of vehiclesOversees the cleanliness, interior and exterior, of all fleet, insuring vehicles are deployment readyManage and oversee the registrations, license renewals and tags, insurance information, operation, and maintenance of all RRT vehicles and equipment as assigned.Insure the medical certification and driving records of all CDL drivers are current, and in compliance with State and Federal regulations, including drug and alcohol periodic testing.Manages the tracking software system that manages driver logs, mileage, truck mileage for state fuel taxes, driver behavior, and GPS tracking of RRT equipment.Manages driver rotation schedules for deployments, conferences and other RRT related ministry to include deployment assignments. Assures drivers are prepared with Purchase Card loads, lodging while traveling, wi-fi equipment for the vehicle, etc. Submits reports for driver stipends to be paid. Assist with completing Travel Authorizations for drivers deployments and travel. Actively recruits and trains new drivers strategically located near ministry centers where vehicles are housed. Schedules annual training with all RRT fleet drivers, to review driver protocol and procedures.Manages the restocking of RRT vehicles upon return of deployments.Assist with inventory request and shipping of inventory for special events.Drive RRT vehicles to deployment sites, providing RRT site leadership on deployments as required.

Marginal Duties and ResponsibilitiesTravels to conferences and other BGEA/SP events as assignedAssists in representing the RRT to other disaster response organizations. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specifications Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License with a minimum of 25,000 mile safedriving recordBachelor-level degree in ministerial or counseling fields preferred Maintain a current North Carolina Commercial Driver License Strong, Christian-based service ethic, exhibiting high standard of Christian conductExcellent organizational skills, with ability to work productively with initiative and with minimal supervision Excellent time management and prioritization skills Ability to adapt quickly to respond to rapidly developing circumstances and contingencies Ability to delegate effectively Ability to demonstrate a calm and controlled demeanor in stressful and demanding circumstances Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to establish and maintain diverse relationships Ability to relate productively, effectively, and harmoniously with people of different backgrounds Flexibility, adaptability, and openness to change
