📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A full service Medical Communications agency is seeking a Senior Medical Writer experienced in Publications and Medical Affairs! In this role, you will develop and deliver high-quality Medical Communications content for numerous clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of various deliverables for a wide range of audiences. Deliverables include abstracts, manuscripts, slide decks, sales training materials, scientific communications platforms, gap analyses, etc.Collaborate closely with client services, project managers, and other internal teams to understand and deliver on client objectives.Write clear, concise, and accurate scientific content tailored to specific audiencesManage and mentor junior medical writers, providing guidance and feedback.Play an active role in client meetings by providing strategic input and guidance on communication strategies.
Qualifications:Advanced degree in a life science discipline or equivalent experience. PharmD, PhD, MD preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in medical writing experience in a Medical Communications Agency settingExcellent technical writing and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
