Duration: Up to 10 weeks, full time in office 37.5 hours per weekLocation: City Center, Washington DC Pay: $20.00 per hour (Non-Benefited Position)Orientation: June 18, 2024Departments Available for Internships: Legal (Compliance, IP), Science/Regulatory, Membership, Finance and Accounting, Policy (Health, Agriculture & Environment, International), Advocacy/Government Relations, Events and Industry Education.

Eligibility Criteria for Interns:Enrollment: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines aligned with the department of interest.Interest: Demonstrated passion for the department of interest, with additional enthusiasm for biotechnology or associations, evidenced through coursework, research projects, extracurricular activities, or relevant work experience.Performance: Strong academic track record, typically with a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with the capacity to convey ideas effectively and collaborate with diverse teams.Skills: Possess analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.Adaptability: Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a readiness to learn.Eligibility: Ability to work in the United States legally, demonstrated through citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work authorization documentation.Commitment: Availability to commit to the duration of the internship program.Requirements: Compliance with specific internship position requirements, such as background checks, confidentiality agreements, or technical skills.with BIO Values: Dedication to ethical conduct, innovation, and advancing the field of biotechnology for societal benefit.
