Overview

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Provides cleaning, processing, testing and general maintenance of equipment used for respiratory therapy. Maintains proper inventory of parts and supplies and orients new employees on cleaning and assembly of equipment.
Responsibilities
Tracks, organizes and maintains supply inventory for the department and orders fresh supplies as necessary.Ensures instrumentation is reassembled correctly and functioning properly.Disassembles, decontaminates, and processes instrumentation according to manufacturer and industry standards, or coordinates disinfection and transportation with Central Sterilization.Picks up/delivers equipment and supplies in patient care areas across entire academic campus.Restocks and certifies emergency airway kits for academic campus and select remote sites.
