Are you a new or experience srub tech, do you have a passion for patient safety, and are you a great team player? Our Level 1 Trauma Surgery department wants to add a Surgical Technologist to their cohesive team.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working or completing an externship for surgical technolgy.

6:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. on 3 of 4 weekdays (Monday, Tuesday. Wednesday. or ThursdayNo weekends/no call1 holiday a yearUp to a $12,500 Sign-on bonusUp to a $5000 Relocation Assistance if outside a 100 mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies.Performs surgical scrub duties, and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.Assists in turning over of room, and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
