Pay Rate: $18.20/hour

Leadership And Functional Responsibilities

Perform the setup and operation of packaging and bagging equipment on designated product lines according to the production schedulePackaging and labeling coffee Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observedEnsure all production complies with quality and food safety standardsClean and sanitize equipment in accordance with food safety standardsEnsure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried outPerform safety checks on every machine prior to and during runtimeEnsure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on outputSetup operational parameters (run speed, quantity, shapes, and sizes) on machine terminals or controlsRecord all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or production related information as requiredParticipate in production process improvement efforts

Education And Skill Requirements

High school education or equivalentPrevious packaging machine experience helpfulAbility to safely lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.US Military Veteran a plus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipmentSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer workLight to moderate lifting is requiredRegular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
