Role DescriptionThis is a temporary, virtual/remote freelance role for a Capture Consultant focused on the upcoming NIH BPSS (IV) contract. RFP release is anticipated very soon, so working with a sense of urgency is a must. As the Capture Consultant, responsibilities include work closely with our undisclosed Large Bidder client, educating and advising their leadership and helping their company maximize PWin in preparation for bidding as a Prime. This work will be billed hourly, but you are free to work on your own schedule. No security clearance requiredNo travel or commuting anticipated

Activities may include:Conduct due diligence, gather and analyze market intel/research to flush out key insights and information about the Govt Customer along problems they are trying to solve, as well as information directly related to the procurement.Partner and sometimes lead development of the win strategy and identify resources needed to increase the win probability.Plan and coordinate critical capture activities including call planning, competitive analysis, stakeholder analysis, solution development, staffing analysis, teaming, and pricing strategy (including engaging price-to-win as appropriate).Drive client-focused activities, including setting up and attending key client and stakeholder meetings throughout the life of the capture.Source prospective, high PWin teaming partners and assist in negotiating terms for teaming agreements and related work share prior to RFP release.Preparing and presenting analyses, reports, findings, recommendations, strategies, etc with respect to guiding the Large Bidder client's decision making for this pursuit.

QualificationsPrior experience in capture management and advanced proposal development for large government contractsRich familiarity with NIH BPSS (IV) competitive landscape, Govt decision makers, enablers and influencersDeep understanding of the NIH BPSS (IV) acquisition process and regulationsStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to work independently and remotely with cross-functional teamsBachelor's degree in a relevant field desired``` ```
