📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a CPA to join our Client's team.
Manage the tax planning and compliance functions for clients.
Prepare and review federal, state, and local corporate, partnership, fiduciary, individual and not-for-profit tax returns - Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Conduct research on tax issues.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize client's tax liability.
Coordinate with IRS and various state agencies on notices received and/or audits of clients tax returns.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or EA is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in taxation in a CPA firm (7+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of financial statements, GAAP, general ledger accounting, and QuickBooks is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
