📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Summary of essential job functionsAs QA Manager, you are the ISO 9001/AS9100 Aerospace Representative; maintaining the quality system to ISO and AS standards. You will be responsible for all facets of customer returns; conformance issues and corrective actions. Conduct Risk Assessment Meetings with departments where necessary. Internal and Semi-Annual Registrar Audit Planning. Oversee and Manage inspection personnel and help perform inspections as needed. Identify new opportunities to continuously improve quality, cost and time factors.
Minimum requirements:Maintain Calibration systems for Precision Tools/equipment;AS 9102 FAI Inspection support / problem resolution;Experienced blue print reading;10-15 years of QA experience in machine/job shop environment;E2 software experience;Time Management;Knowledge and implementation of Policy/Procedures.

Quality Assurance Quality ISO/AS Rep reports to the PresidentThe Quality Manager is responsible for Quality AssuranceDemonstrate progress against quality goals through clear metricsDefine, manage, and communicate quality metrics to the rest of the company Continuously monitor trends and changes in quality or related issuesProvide training and mentoring to the QA organization on process, methodologies, and planningThe Quality Manager will work with various managers and department supervisorsProvide leadership and direction to the quality council Management experience leading a QA organization Detail oriented with good problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
