Position Summary

Blue Owl is seeking an Associate to join its BDC Product Management team. This individual will assist in a broad range of work across the Credit platform, including: maintaining quarterly earnings, marketing and board materials; executing annual meetings and 15-C process; driving the execution of and materials for strategic initiatives; and preparing other ad-hoc analyses as neededThis position provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple facets of Blue Owl’s direct lending business and grow alongside an innovative, rapidly expanding platform and team

Primary Responsibilities

Preparing quarterly earnings materials for the BDCsPreparing board presentations for the BDCsAssist with preparing materials associated with the annual 15-C processAssist with execution of the annual meetings and, if necessary, any special meetingsAssist with executing strategic initiatives and preparing associated materialsPrepare ad-hoc materials on fund performance for meetings with senior management and external parties, including monitoring other public and non-traded BDC developmentsBecome familiar with and able to communicate details around fund products and strategies, including investment level informationWork closely with Investor Relations, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets teams, which along with the Product Management team, report to the CFOLiaise closely with Accounting, Marketing, Legal, Institutional Sales, Private Wealth, and the Investment teams to drive content on the market positioning of the different BDCs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent2+ years of experience in financial services (leveraged finance, private equity, alternative asset management, investment banking and/or capital markets experience strongly preferred)Exceptional work ethic, positive attitude and collaborative, team-oriented dispositionStrong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to grasp and distill complex conceptsProactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is requiredExcellent attention to detail, with high standards for precisionSolutions-oriented problem solverHigh degree of discretion and integrity, with the ability to handle proprietary and/or sensitive information regularlyOutstanding time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage simultaneous processes under tight timelinesExtremely professional, polished individual, with the ability to interact with senior leaders and important investors/external stakeholders on a regular basisProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint in particularExperience with Bloomberg, S&P Cap IQ, S&P LCD, Salesforce a plus

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $90,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
