Focus:• Design, plan, and oversee extensive civil engineering activities including zoning approvals, detailed site planning, and comprehensive infrastructure development such as storm-water management and utility systems integration.• Direct and manage communications and formal presentations with local government bodies, utility providers, and planning commissions.• Conduct detailed site assessments to establish and document existing conditions.• Engage in detailed engineering analysis, assist in the creation of technical drawings and specifications.• Coordinate cross-disciplinary project teams to ensure superior engineering results.• Resolve technical challenges encountered during project execution, ensuring timely and effective solutions.• Lead project management efforts across diverse undertakings from minor refurbishments to extensive new constructions.• Foster business expansion through diligent client engagement, opportunity development, proposal drafting, and external representation of the firm.Skill Set:• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.• Minimum of 7 years in a civil engineering role with a strong focus on project leadership and infrastructure design.• Active NY PE (Professional Engineer) license highly preferred.• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D; capable of guiding less experienced engineers; well-versed in local regulatory standards.• Exceptional communication abilities, adept in multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.• Proficiency in various structural analysis software.
