As a Project Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and directing projects involving both mechanical and electrical components within the company. Projects assigned to this position are diverse and complex, requiring minimal guidance from engineering management. This Role Offers: Competitive base salary and 10% bonus. Focus: Demonstrate safety leadership by complying with all safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures. Prepare documentation to initiate capital projects, including engineering requests, estimates, and capital expenditure authorization. Follow capital projects from conception to implementation, including cost tracking. Identify customer needs, safety concerns, and project requirements, developing and evaluating alternate solutions to define project scope. Coordinate and assemble engineering package/project documentation based on managerial direction. Provide purchasing services for project materials, including vendor review, contact, purchase order issuance, and delivery coordination. Manage project costs, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders. Interface with internal and external parties to ensure equipment safety, timely production, and adherence to specifications. Assist with installation, checkout, start-up, and training as necessary. Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for plant machinery breakdowns. Skill Set: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in electrical project engineering. Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and AutoCAD. Basic knowledge of electrical programming software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
