Focus:Perform and oversee civil engineering tasks such as zoning, site planning, and infrastructure design, including storm-water and utility coordination.Lead submissions and presentations to local authorities, utilities, and planning boards.Conduct site investigations to document conditions.Review and complete design calculations and assist in drawing and specification preparation.Manage project planning and inter-disciplinary coordination to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.Address technical issues during construction, providing effective solutions.Apply project management and technical skills across various projects, from small restorations to major new constructions.Drive business growth by maintaining client relationships, seeking new opportunities, creating proposals, representing the firm externally, and mentoring junior engineers.
Skill Set:Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.7+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering, with significant project leadership and design experience.NY PE (Professional Engineer) license required.Demonstrated ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers.Deep understanding and application of local code requirements.Proficiency in various structural analysis software.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.Proficiency in Auto-CAD and Civil 3D is a must.
