Job Title: Mechanical / Plumbing Project Manager - Guam
Overview of the Company
Our client is a company that specializes in various construction projects, including fire protection, plumbing, and air/water side HVAC. They are currently seeking a skilled project manager to join the team and oversee multiple jobs on the island of Guam. As a project manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of superintendents, coordinating with 100+ foreign nationals, working closely with our logistics department, and directly interacting with customers. This is a permanent position with exciting opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Track designs and ensure their timely completionLead meetings and provide updates on project progressManage billings, RFI's (Requests for Information), and schedulesConduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practicesEffectively manage labor resources and ensure productivity
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on government projects with scopes of $10M and larger in the mechanical/plumbing fieldProficient in using computer software and applications to access project documents (iPad or laptop)Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and work under pressureMust pass background check to enter Government facilities
