Product Manager / BDM

Think Global. Think BlueStar. We are seeking candidates for a Product Manager position for the regions of Latin America and The Caribbean. Position is located in Miramar, Florida with limited traveling. This is a great fit for an individual with strong business skills who wants to work in a fast growing company. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish (reading and writing native or proficient only) with excellent communication skills. Candidates considered must have a four-year college degree to be considered. This is an entry to mid-level position that falls into the Marketing Department and is responsible for the product line development of our partners business, the development of reseller programs and the establishment of good and long-term relationships with customers.

ResponsibilitiesMaintenance, support, and relationship development with all existing Vendor’s approved/certified/registered resellers and Vendor’s EmployeesAssistance in asset management of all Vendor’s products and service SKUsAssistance in the training of BlueStar sales staff on Vendor’s products, partner programs, promotions, and business policiesManagement and accountability for the Vendor MDF and Co-op Marketing Funds· Effectively manage products for Barcode Printers, POS Solutions, ADC & Mobility.Advise and notify BlueStar’s executive management team of all Vendor business activities and concerns via BlueStar’s reporting weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms and meetings.Development and execution of the Vendor/BlueStar annual Business plans for sales regions.

QualificationsMust have experience in management functions: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of financial, and material resources, which include:A solid understanding of accounting principles for budgets, bottom line accountability, MDF and co-op marketing funds.Experience in management by exception, with the ability to monitor operating results of implemented plans and compare the expected results with the actual results.MUST be proficient in Spanish (and English), speaking and writing. (Spanish test will be administered)Must be an excellent communicator, face to face and over the phone.Ability to publicly speak to small groups.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially EXCEL (Test will be administered)Ability to efficiently and effectively support the sales team on a daily basis.Understanding of basic concepts of reseller channels is preferred.Knowledge of POS and AIDC product portfolio is a plus.Candidates must have at least a four-year college degree.Candidates must have a current passport to travel outside of the US or the ability to get a passport within 4 weeks of hiring.Position is located in Miramar, FloridaNO RELOCATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED
