This person will also work with Blum International Consulting Group & Human Resources at Blum Austria and will always be developing and maintaining growth with employees at Blum US. Responsibilities Partners with the GM & Top Management team to develop & execute Blum’s strategic goals in organizational and personal development Provides career guidance and coaching to employees and managers at Blum US, creating strong relationships with managers Supports the BUS PD/OD department’s work activities & the implementation of sponsored programs & initiatives Coordinates and helps support the identification of future PD/OD initiatives & the development of comprehensive plans to meet those needs Support employee development, organizational development, succession planning, training & leadership development Serve as a cultural leader within the organization, working to maintain & strengthen Blum’s core values & attributes while maintaining a fun, social & engaging work environment Collaborates with department heads on PD/OD requirements for their departments Collaborates with Blum Austria and Blum International Consulting Group on Personal Development (PD)/Organizational Development (OD) topics to align needs of this facility and the Global PD/OD community Supports coordination of PD/OD initiatives through organization of tasks, use of software systems such as Microsoft 360 and Confluence Assists with organization and coordination of OD programs at Blum US for visitors from different subsidiaries Facilitates and organizes the Blum Orientation, Blum Path training, Expertise in Leadership, International Leadership Network and mentor training classes Collaborates with the global PD/OD organization by attending monthly meetings, and annual events Facilitates OD processes with departments within Blum US, providing overall coordination, meeting scheduling, consolidating large amount of information Developmental mindset instead of hierarchical mindset Team player with mediation skills to bring conflicting parties together to form an agreeable solution Gathering information through interviews & other discovery methods Ability to present ideas in an easy-to-understand & engaging manner Ability to travel internationally and domestically to facilitate OD programs and trainings and participate in event globally Requirements Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in various OD, HR & training development roles in a mid-sized industrial manufacturing environment Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Communications, Business Administration or Psychology is preferred Additional training in legal issues, federal & state laws, business theory/practices is preferred Effective verbal & written communication skills Establish/maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals on all levels of the organization Motivating, developing and directing people as they work Effective database management & record keeping skills Management of one’s time & the time of others to achieve daily goals Effective computer skills in a Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Confluence or Connex, and familiar with any other platforms or software pertinent to OD functions Structured working methods, ability to perform tasks in a specific method and timeframe Non-Hybrid work availability – required to be onsite
