We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Trading to join our Buyside Trading Solutions team, within BNY Mellon’s Markets division. This role is located in Boston, MA - HYBRID.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

Manage all aspects of executing complex order flow, in support of BNY Mellon’s internal asset management clients and in accordance with our best execution proceduresEnsure client orders are executed in an efficient, timely, cost-effective manner, and in line with trade instructions. Work closely with peers in middle office and with counterparties to ensure efficient and accurate booking of tradesCollaborate with the investment team, trade support, quant research and engineering teams to evolve our trading practices and ensure efficient implementation of investment decisions.Maintain and develop constructive relationships with our internal clients, vendors and counterparties in a bid to constantly improve our processes

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.2 + years experience in institutional trading of foreign exchange (FX) is preferred.Quantitative skillset and experience with some combination of Python, R and SQL is a plus.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail or risk management.Intellectually curious, self-starter mindset - capable of grasping complex concepts and workflows and a desire to continually improve
