Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Aircraft Painter (Associate or Experienced) to support the 787 Program based out of North Charleston, SC on a Variable Shift.

Position Responsibilities

Prepares exterior surface of aircraft for painting.Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes to exterior of aircraft.Applies aircraft finishes and external markings to aircraft sections.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Must be willing to work any shift assigned, including overtime.1+ years of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, industrial, or general painting.Required to wear fall protection gear, safety equipment and masks.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAircraft paint experience.

Typical Education/Experience

Associate (Level B):

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced (Level C):

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift Work Statement

This position is variable shift.

Sign-On Bonus

External candidates are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Associate (Level B) summary pay range: $54,260 - $58,230

Experienced (Level C) summary pay range: $65,660 -$67,020
