Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Product Security Engineer to join our Government Training Systems team in Hazelwood, MO. The selected candidates will execute on our vision and share our passion for protecting our government training systems and associated products.

Position Responsibilities

Ability to build and assess network and software systems architecturesImplements, and sustains product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycleCompletes test setups to system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirementsConfigures and ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, or computer science.DoD 8570 Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Additional OS certificationExperience scanning for vulnerabilities, implement mitigations, install, administer, and troubleshoot on the following operating systems:Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 10,Linux DistributionsOracle Solaris (UNIX)Experience with the following:NFS and CIFS network data, SAMBANIS, DNS, NTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP, VPN’sActive Directory, LDAP, FirewallsRAID storageBackup methodologies, disaster recoveryHTTP/HTTPS (Apache and IIS)DBA skills: SQL Server, MySQL and OracleEthernet and GPIB communicationsProgramming skills:UNIX/Linux shell scripts (C, Bourne, BASH)Python script language

Typical Education/ Experience

Education/experience acquired through technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, or computer science (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range: $91,800- $124,200
