The Boeing Company is looking for a Production and Inventory Coordinator to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities

Uses Boeing systems (ARES/BESSy) to perform shipping and receivingIdentifies and clears receiving discrepanciesOperates forklift to load/unload trucks and move materialInventory Management: Uses Boeing systems to order (Ariba/Eparts) and manage inventory of various supplies and personal protective equipment (safety glasses/earplugs, etc.)Communicates parts and material statusCoordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delaysStocks point of use and personal protective equipment locationsUses Boeing system (Haztrax) to order, receive and manage hazardous materialRemoves hazardous wasteUpdates shipping and receiving records and files for records retention requirementsExpedites receipt and delivery of materialUpdates daily metricsWorks under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

High school diploma or GED1+ years of experience with shipping and receivingCurrently have or able to obtain forklift licenseExperience with Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

1+ years of experience in a customer service role1+ years of experience handling and disposing of hazardous materials per government regulations1+ years of experience with inventory management systems or database applications1+ years of experience with stocking of materialExperience using the Boeing Systems ARES and Haztrax

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift

This position is for 1st shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $46,750 – $63,250
