The Northwest Flight Test Data Systems Team is looking for a Mid-Level Flight Test Lab Computing Support - System Administrator – Linux to join our team in Seattle, WA.

The LCS Team designs, develops, builds, integrates, and supports computing tools, systems, and networks used by engineers and technicians to support flight test airplanes. The Team interfaces with company employees across program, function, and organizational boundaries, and with computing hardware/software vendors.

Position Responsibilities Include

Perform system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architectureProvide problem resolution and technical support for delivery systemsProvide support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systemsAdminister user’s system access and works to protect information to meet security requirementsMonitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Currently possess an Associate’s degree or higher3+ years of experience working within multi-disciplined teams to resolve business impacting computing issues3+ years of experience in in performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements3+ years of experience integrating hardware and software components into a functional system4+ years of experience in computing administration to include managing Microsoft active directory design, deploy and operational support4+ years of experience working with Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Integration in a Linux or Windows environment3+ years of experience in Operating Systems: RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOSExperience in scripting and programming (bash shell, PERL, etc.)Experience with physical server hardware (HP Servers, Cisco Switches & Routers)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

LDAP administration (Openldap)Experience with following applications: Ansible, Stornext, kickstart, httpd, Docker, Nagios, SSL, Redhat Clustering, Acronis, DNS, DHCP server, Sendmail, iptables, samba.Experience with Data Center hardware management and maintenance2+ years of experience in architecture, designing, and implementing a DevOps infrastructure for a program3+ years of experience with standardized Network Protocols and Services (i.e. Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol (IP), Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Firewalls, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range: $94,350 – $127,650
