Boeing is seeking a Senior Manager - State and Local Government Operations to join our Government Affairs team in Titusville, FL. This team contributes to public policy development for the company and is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and engaged professional to serve as a valuable contributor toward our legislative and regulatory goals.

The selected candidate will manage state and local government relations activities for Boeing in Florida and Georgia. This position requires detailed knowledge of and relationships with government and community leaders in the assigned territories. The duties include building strong relationships with elected officials and staff, civic and trade associations, business and nonprofit leaders, and the general public.

For other areas around the state, the candidate will also develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal executives and external partners including community leaders, state and local elected officials, and local representatives from congressional district offices.

Position Responsibilities

Coordinates and implements campaigns to advocate the Company's business interests, including the analysis of laws and regulations and coordination with government/industry officials and agenciesPlans and leads political and community organizing activities for BoeingDevelops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and proceduresProvides oversight and approval of government relations activities and processesProvides oversight of government operations activities and processes within the region and suggests improvements as necessaryDevelops and executes regional legislative plans and develops business cases to support continuation of programs, projects and processesDevelops close relationships with our Boeing Global Engagement (BGE) team in order to leverage community impactRepresents the company as directed across the region, including in public settings (e.g., Boeing-sponsored community events)Supports company policies regarding ethical behavior, security, time charging and use of company

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring multiple experienced Engineering Certification Specialist (Mid-Level, Experienced, or Senior). This position offers the potential to broaden skills and experience across multiple engineering disciplines. These positions are located in Renton, WA.

These positions support executing certification activities on the 737 MAX . This is an opportunity for the right candidate to utilize their systems and critical thinking skills, technical abilities and business acumen to support the certification of MAX aircraft.

Position Responsibilities

Coordinating the development of issue papersCoordinate the assessment of certification plans, configuration change proposals, nonconformance (NNC) compliance proposals, and Safety Related Problem (SRP) Proposals and others.Developing certification approaches/strategies with the Federal Aviation Authorities (FAA), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical focals across the enterpriseAssisting in the development of technical briefs for domestic and foreign regulatorsApplies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutionsEvaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfacesPerforms analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission successDevelops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processesResolves cross-functional technical issues

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Experience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspectsExperience with regulatory agencies' procedures and process Experience with integration, verification and certification processes Experience in analyzing data, summarizing findings; developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources Experience with strong analytical, integration, teaming, and communication skills Experience in project leadership Ability to manage competing priorities

Level 4 (Experienced)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 5 (Senior)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Summary pay range for Mid-Level ( Level 3): $104,550.00 - $141,450.00

Summary pay range for Experienced ( Level 4): $128,350.00 – $173,650.00

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 5): $157,250.00 - $212,750.00
