Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Procurement Field Representative (Level 4) to join the North-East Global Field Operations team in Columbus, Ohio on first shift.

The primary focus will entail supplier engagement in the region’s area suppliers, to drive improved quality and delivery performance.

Position Responsibilities

Manages and measures supplier performanceDevelop and generate supplier performance metricsProvides direction to suppliers to improve their quality and delivery performanceLeads supplier performance reviewsEvaluate risks and opportunitiesCommunicates performance to planLeads cross functional team efforts to assess supplier processes and systemsWorks with internal and external resources, utilizing tools, processes, and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirementsEstablishes and maintains relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnelDevelops and utilizes communication tools and plansIdentifies, establishes, and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and dataCommunicates supplier performance status to programs, internal business partners, customers, and all other stakeholders, with excellent reading and writing skills

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

• 15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

7+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services5+ years of experience in a role that required project management skills3+ year of experience in root cause analysis and corrective actionMust have current valid driver’s licenseAble and willing to travel 50-75% of the timeAble and willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s degree or higherExperience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentationsExperience with complex problem solving & risk mitigation planning/strategiesExperience understanding blueprints, engineering drawings, etc.Experience building and maintaining professional relationships

Typical Education/ Experience

Typically, 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $102,850 - $139,150
