📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
VISION: Seeking a Tax Director who has UPSIDE to senior leadership roles. These are expansionary hires for this elite tax team. Work with national firm groomed CPA/MST professionals with hands-on world class knowledge that can train and mentor also. Be exposed to cutting edge technology, business leaders, executives, and external tax and legal advisors.

OPPORTUNITY: Be responsible for managing compliance, research and planning while working as a value added tax consultant and business advisor to executive management.
Participate on a wide variety of tax compliance, audit, research, and planning that supports privately held growth entities involved in manufacturing, distribution, construction, retail, healthcare, real estate, e-commerce, financial services, communications, technology, and non-profits, among others.Support tax compliance research and planning for trusts, estates and high new worth tax filers.If more experienced than you will assess the proper accounting treatment of tax planning strategies related to your client's business and any proposed business initiatives, and determine the related impact on your client's effective tax rate.Monitor changes in tax law, including analysis of legislative efforts, regulatory pronouncements (IRS, Treasury, state & foreign taxing authorities) and judicial developments, and evaluate the potential impact on your Client's tax provision and effective tax rate.

REQUIREMENTS: Must live in CT. Must be a CPA or parts passed with 3+ years public accounting tax experience. MST or in process also works. Empowering culture where professional image, team player/leaders with strong organizational skills and a desire to contribute are noticed, developed and promoted!
REWARD: $125,000 to $185,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus, benefits, and impressive perks.
