📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position Specific Details: Surgeon would join a group of four-five established general surgeons.Option to take general surgery call or to be excluded from call schedule.Option to do general surgery work or to focus solely on colorectal cases.Within practice there is currently a busy colorectal surgeon. Each work closely with the hospital’s GI department and nearby cancer practice to provide comprehensive care to patients.Volume immediately available.
Job ResponsibilitiesManages the medical care of assigned patients.Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum QualificationsDegree: DO or MDExperience: 2-5 YearsSupervisor Experience: No ExperienceLicense: Licensed Physician
