Job Description
A family-owned trucking and transportation company is searching for an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee operations in Fort Worth, TX! As Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for dispatching trucks, managing drivers, and maintaining excellent customer service onsite. The role requires the management of multiple satellite locations and occasional travel to support remote facilities. This is a great opportunity for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in the trucking industry who have managed drivers who are flexible with their schedule and are looking for growth opportunities and a stable career at a well-established company!
Salary Range: $65, 000 - $75, 000 / year DOE + bonus incentives
Fleet Manager Requirements
3+ years of experience in the trucking industry with a focus on management roles, not limited to drivingDemonstrable ability to build relationships and manage teamsProficient in DOT regulations and complianceTechnologically savvy, with AS400 system experience preferredBilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plusExperience in warehouse management is preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently in client-based locations is preferred
Fleet Manager Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of dispatching trucks within a local radius, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of goodsOversee the management and operational activities of satellite locationsFoster strong relationships with drivers to enhance retention and ensure compliance with DOT regulationsEngage directly with clients, maintaining and strengthening customer relationshipsMonitor timecards, manage schedules, and be available for emergency situations 24/7Utilize AS400 and Qualcom Omnitracks for dispatch operations
