A cloud-based technology and communication services provider in San Diego, CA is seeking a Temp Collections Specialist to join their team on a 30-45 day assignment! They are looking for someone with heavy collections experience who is comfortable using the phone to help manage and reduce approximately 300 outstanding invoices. Pay Range: $25 -$28/hr DOE

Responsibilities

Prioritize and reduce over 295 outstanding invoices, focusing on those 90+ days overdueUse phone calls and emails to negotiate payments from small businesses, moving towards regularizing accountsHandle bi-monthly billing and use service interruptions as necessary to ensure timely paymentsOrganize the collections process to manage increased receivables efficientlyEstablish positive relations while addressing overdue payments to minimize escalationsUtilize Timely Bill and OTRS for billing and collections, with provided training for proficiency

Requirements

1+ year of experience in heavy collectionsExceptional communication skills, both on the phone and via emailComfortable with the collections processAbility to build and maintain professional relationships, preventing unnecessary escalationsFamiliarity with Timely Bill and OTRS systems is a plus (training provided)Additional collections experience is preferredStrong time management and ability to work independently
