Maintenance Technician

Bradley Professional is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a great company located in Thomasville, NC. This is a Direct Hire Position!The maintenance technician will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals. EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED · Proven maintenance experience.· Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.· Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.· Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.· Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, etc.· Experience with electronics/electrical parts is a plus.· Experience performing routine maintenance.· Strong organizational and follow up skills.· Eye for detail.· Professional presentation and attitude.· Ability to maintain focus while working individually.· Strong time management skills. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED Forklift CertificationDriver license ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Handling basic repairs and maintenance. This includes repairs to machines throughout the plant and the facility.Performing preventative maintenance. Create and Manage PM scheduling using our current system..Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Movement of equipment as needed within the plant that can be performed by maintenance.Ability to wire machines and run air lines to machines as needed.
