Brainworks is partnered with a Manufacturer in Indianapolis for their Human Resources Manager vacancy.
As Human Resources Manager you will hold oversight for multiple manufacturing plants, supporting 600 non-union employees. This position involves planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities, with strategic interaction with the EVP Operations and VP Global Human Resources. The role is pivotal in fostering day-to-day employee engagement, leadership coaching, employee relations, and recruiting.
Responsibilities
Develop, interpret, and apply company policies, benefits, practices, procedures, programs, and applicable laws consistently across all manufacturing facilities.Act as a liaison between management and employees, handling inquiries, interpreting policies, and aiding in resolving work-related issues.Directly manage the Talent Acquisition Department.Supervise and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff in employment, compensation, and employee relations.Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend necessary changes.Oversee selection, recruitment, and interviewing of plant employees, collaborating with supervisory and department heads.Analyze training needs and design employee training and development programs, including safety initiatives.Plan and organize recognition programs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred, PHR or SPHR strongly preferredMinimum of 8 years HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
