📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Braun Intertec is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Lenexa, KS office. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetingsLeadership of a technical or project related teamPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projectsDevelop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutionsManage projects (scope, schedule, budget)Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standardsMentor junior level engineering staffUnderstand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policiesRequired Skills:Driven for successAttention to detail and multi taskingHighly organized and ability to prioritize workStrong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as a team memberAbility to create, maintain, and communicate project budgetsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem solving skillsTravel up to 25% of timeRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering requiredMaster's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optionalThree or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experienceExperience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferredProfessional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 monthsAbility to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basisBraun Intertec is a Drug-Free Workplace and requires all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.Braun Intertec employees are encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.Braun Intertec offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, PTO, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and paid holidays
