Our team in Broussard currently has an opening for a N-Spec Technician
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Transporting equipment trailers to and from pipeline project locations.Rigging up NSPEC equipment to prepare for pipeline project (Hammer Union and flanged piping, hoses, etc.)Loading and launching pipeline pigsOperating and maintaining triplex pumps to inject cleaning fluids into pipelineOperating and maintaining large Air Compressors/dryersTracking of pipeline pigs using geophones and electronic transmitter/receiverReceiving and removing pipeline pigs from pig receiverOperating separation equipmentPressure washing and rebuilding pipeline pigsAttend daily/weekly/monthly Safety Meetings
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience
Computer experienceBasic experience writing and submitting proposalsCustomer service experience; must interact well with customersAdvanced operator experience is requiredAbility to communicate effectively with othersMust be organized, dependable, and promptMust have a valid driver’s licenseAbility to making critically analyze, problem solve and offer solutions.Perform each essential duty successfully
