📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our merchandising strategy and execution for our outlet retail stores. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive merchandising strategies, optimizing inventory levels, driving sales and sell through at our outlet stores.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute merchandise strategies to maximize sales and sell through for outlet retail stores.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of merchandising objectives with business goals and initiatives.Oversee assortment planning, product selection, and pricing strategies to meet customer demands and market trends.Manage outlet products to maintain a compelling and diverse product assortment.Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and product performance metrics to optimize inventory turns and minimize markdowns.Develop and implement promotional and markdown strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and margin improvement.Collaborate with store teams, providing merchandise and visual guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions and strategies by location.Drive continuous improvement in merchandising processes, systems, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in merchandising, retail management, or related field, former retail business owner, proven track record of success in outlet retail or discount retail environments A PLUS.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate in store teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive merchandising plans.Entrepreneurial spirit - results-oriented with a focus on driving sales and cash flow.
