Director, Architecture & Delivery

The Director of Architecture and Delivery at SeneGence International will lead our Digital Transformation initiative, focusing on enhancing the customer experience at both the Distributor and Consumer levels. This role involves upgrading capabilities in Content, Commerce, CRM, Marketing Automation, and leveraging business data through a Data Lake and Business Analytics program. We seek a visionary technology leader who will drive our Architecture team, oversee multi-cloud integration platforms, influence build vs. buy decisions, conduct platform evaluations, and uplift our overall Software Engineering discipline. Reporting directly to the SVP of IT, the Director of Architecture and Delivery plays a critical role in shaping our digital solutions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Strategically manage human, financial, and information resources to drive business success.• Meet organizational goals, exceed customer expectations, and flawlessly execute projects and commitments.• Drive change initiatives within the Digital Solutions organization and collaborate with business units to implement strategic and tactical changes.• Build and motivate teams across departments, global locations, and organizations to achieve common goals.• Identify, assess, and promote commerce-driven business ideas leveraging technology and emerging methodologies.• Inspire and lead teams towards achieving the organization's vision, mission, and goals.• Design and develop enterprise-level software applications considering scalability, security, reusability, maintainability, extensibility, testability, and reliability across distributed systems.• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Azure Cloud PaaS, Integration Platforms (iPaaS), eCommerce, CRM, and ERP Architectures (SaaS, PaaS), and APIs.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.• Minimum of 10 years of experience developing enterprise-level software applications.• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams of architects.• Proven ability to design for scalability, security, reusability, maintainability, extensibility, testability, and reliability across distributed systems.• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud PaaS, Integration Platforms (iPaaS), eCommerce, CRM, and ERP Architectures (SaaS, PaaS), and APIs.• In-depth knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, relational (SQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with business and technical stakeholders to influence technical needs.• Demonstrated skill in designing enterprise software solutions using standard architectural principles and practices.• Experience in Agile Methodology and associated processes, teams, and tools.• Experience with OWASP secure coding practices.• Experience with DevOps concepts and practices.QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION:• Experience with Magento• Broad understanding of coding and programming languages.• Experience with database design and data modeling.• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies.• Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles.• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
