📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and AnalysisLocations: Yuba City, CADuration: Full Time, Permanent & Onsite
Job DescriptionThis role reports to Chief Financial Officer with a strong dotted line to the Vice President of Manufacturing. The success of this position is proactive planning and communicating of financial information and manufacturing indicators. This role is foundational with a potential transition into the Chief Financial Officer.
Build a planning and analysis teamManage quarterly and annual Planning and budget meetingsDevelop presentations for the board summarizing company results and forecastsConduct monthly review meetings with department headsDetermine cash flow, NPV, IRR and payback period for capital investmentsAssist with monthly COGS and balance sheet variance analysisProvide Annual inventory reports for tax purposesResponsible for managing the transition to SAP/Hana for the planning groupManage the Planning and Analysis and Manufacturing Analysis groups.
Knowledge/Skills
Planning system experience with sophisticated ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAPHeavy business intelligence experienceSophisticated excel user
Education/Experience
MBA, CPA or CMAMinimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing or agricultural environmentConsulting or investment banking experience preferredPhysical/Safety Requirements:
Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk.Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.
