Job DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:Oversees and assesses existing business and operational processes and workflows to improve productivity and efficiency and eliminate wasteCollaborates with all departments to implement changes to processes and ensure buy-inOptimizes productivity by developing, implementing, and testing new procedures that result in documentation of processes, procedures, work instructions, standardized work instructions, and related formsAssembles reports documenting process status and changesIdentifies metrics that are leading indicators of future performance, and implements opportunities for improvement while tracking metric trends and shiftsCommunicates findings, proposals, and implemented solutions to upper managementFocus on production, business, and management processes to support profitability, customer service, and product qualityProvides thorough instructions for the successful implementation of process changesIdentifies best practices and deploys those practices across all manufacturer sitesConducts risk assessments via PFMEA and DFMEA toolsAssesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standardsContributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as neededIdentify training needs and conduct proper trainingHelps develop training material for all new and updated processes QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or other Engineering related field.Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints Certifications are preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in ManufacturingMinimum of 3 years of experience in leading multi-site activitiesPrevious experience in quality or business process engineering KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Excellent analytical and math skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to persuade others to change existing practices.Strong attention to detailProven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.Proficient with computer and information technologyKnowledge of process engineering software systemsFamiliarity with applicable health and safety regulationsMechanical aptitudeStrong creative and problem-solving skills.Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
