Job Tittle - Senior Director of Engineering Job Location - Fremont, CA Client Summary -We designs, manufactures, markets and supports semiconductor wafer processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits. We are a key supplier of dry strip, rapid thermal anneal, plasma etch, and millisecond anneal equipment to the global semiconductor industry
Position Summary - Strong mechanical engineering and dry plasma Etch semiconductor equipment design engineering background is required.
Responsibilities - Leads a team providing Etch technical solutions to key customers-Demonstrated experience with developing electrostatic chucks for Etch applications-Directs technical aspects of the customer relationship including process and Hardware development for new applications.Defines process and hardware requirements and acts as liaison between customer and development teams-Coordinates resolving customer concerns.Works directly with sales, and field teams on hardware- and process-related issuesDevelops process engineering programs and personnel to add value for the customer and strengthen the customer relationshipResponsible for developing strategies for next generation products and processes.Plans and implements the development of new and scale-up process formulas.Establishes operating equipment specifications and acts as a liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatibleEnsures reliability standards pertaining to the materials and techniques used in design and production-Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Ideal Candidate - Master's degree in Material Sciences Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar scientific with several of those years within the dry plasma Etch tool design skill set, that includes demonstrated skills in process and / or hardware engineering.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven project management track record.
