We look for team members who are driven by innovation and excellence, striving to serve our customers by doing what is right—with integrity, teamwork, and accountability.Primary Responsibilities:Be accountable for safety through active engagement in safety activities and adhere to all safety guidelinesPerform tooling operations and engineering changes to a variety of injection molds with hot runners, valve gates and coresProvide technical support in collaboration with engineering staff for design reviews, repairs, and engineering changesComplete Tooling incident investigations, root cause analysis and implements corrective actions accordingly in a timely and thorough manner.Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce Downtime (SMEDs and Kaizen Events)Work closely with Production to align toolroom activities with overall production goalsMaintain and ensures organization of tooling parts inventoryAssess the feasibility of jobs in the toolroom and provide input to decisions regarding outsourcingBe on call as needed and other duties as assigned.We value our employees by providing:Competitive compensation based on skillsIndustry leading health, dental, and vision plansGenerous 401 (K) savings and profit sharingEducation assistance and internal training programsElectric vehicle chargingMaternity & paternity leaveInterested in learning more on our robust benefits package we offer? Click here!QualificationsEducationPreferredTechnical/other training or better.ExperienceRequiredAble to bench and polish mold surfaces per SPI finishes.Able to effectively weld damaged parting lines and mold detailsAble to identify injection mold defects and make appropriate repairsAble to disassemble, clean and assemble moldsExcellent communication and time management skillsMinimum of 5 years experience in a tool room supporting a production environmentCompletion of Journeyman Tool and Die apprenticeship or equivalent training and experiencePreferredAble to effectively outsource repairs to meet quality and timely expectationsMust be mechanically and electrically inclinedMust be able to learn on the fly, be an excellent problem solver, and be able to work independently with limited supervisionCAD/CAM experience; Master-Cam or Solid Works preferred
