ResponsibilitiesObtain informed consent and prioritize the client’s agency and safetyInform clients about their rights, including their right to refuse treatmentMaintain client confidentiality of all client information including keeping clientrecords confidential and secure, and that any sharing of information is done inaccordance with the client’s wishes and legal requirementsProvide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and care that includesconsideration of the client’s social, cultural, and historical contexts, as well as theirmental and physical health statusComplete timely documentation in accordance with the OARs and BrightSpireHealth Employee Handbook in a provided electronic health recordCollaborate with the client to co-create a personalized care plan that is respectful oftheir autonomy and prioritiesUse evidence-informed and culturally-responsive practices that prioritize cliientempowerment and well-beingProvide care coordination, referrals when needed, timely telephone contact withclients, their families, primary care physicians and other outside organizationsEngage in ongoing education and self-reflection to critically examine and challengesystemic injustices in the mental health systemUse a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety, choice, healing, andempowermentHonor the core ethical principles of respecting the client's right to self determination,beneficence, no maleficence, and justiceMaintain self-care to ensure ability to perform all duties in an emotionally healthystanceMaintain license and all licensing requirements including completion of requiredCEUs and trainingsFollow all Ethical standards of licensing board or the respective licensing board ofthe therapist, and stay in good standing with the board QualificationsMinimum MA in field of psychology, social work or counselingLicensed with LPC, LMFT, LCSW or Licensed Psychologist with state of Oregon licensing board.Experience treating a wide array of mental/behavioral health diagnoses
