ReporterJob Description:We are looking for a skilled healthcare reporter to join our news team. The ideal candidate is a passionate and detail-oriented journalist with a keen interest in covering relevant and compelling stories. The reporter will be responsible for researching, writing, and presenting news content across various platforms, contributing to our organization's commitment to delivering accurate and timely healthcare information. Candidates will be responsible for daily content creation, delivering conference coverage, reporting breaking news, and staying abreast of trending topics within specific specialties on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities:Conduct thorough research on assigned topics and stay informed about current events.Write clear, concise, and engaging news stories for print, online, or broadcast.Conduct interviews and gather information from reliable sources.Adhere to journalistic ethics and standards in reporting.Collaborate with editors and other team members to ensure timely delivery of news content.Provide coverage of major medical meetings - both remote and in-person, as needed.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.3-5 years experience as a reporter or in a similar role.Strong writing and storytelling skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to breaking news situations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
