Staff Accountant
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A fast-growing real estate investment firm is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to support their expanding operations. The ideal Staff Accountant should possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills while being capable of multitasking. This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement, based on merit and performance.
Responsibilities:Support financial operations, including treasury management, financial reporting, lender reporting, lender draws, and tax filings.Monitor cash balances and forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity.Collaborate with asset management and property management teams to facilitate funding requests.Manage various treasury functions, such as opening new bank accounts, coordinating book and wire transfers, overseeing corporate bank accounts, and tracking due-to-from transactions.Work closely with accountants in asset management and property management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting at the property level.Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.1 year of full cycle accounting experience.Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Real estate accounting experience.Proficient in Yardi.Understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000*
