Pouch Machine Operator

Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available

Brook + Whittle is a fast growing company looking for innovative, dynamic people to join our hard-working dedicated team of professionals. The position will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our pouch machines to ensure the highest quality labels for our customers.

Practices (GMP).

• Assure quality checks, test, and procedures are carried out as required.
• Able to set-up and run machines specified by write-up.
• Perform minor maintenance to machines and various equipment.
• Train in new hires.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows all Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements and current General

Manufacturing

Knowledge

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to read and understand the manufacturing order.
• Must be able to read ruler or tape measure.
• Effectively and appropriately use hand tools.
• Able to properly conduct required quality checks and tests.
• Must be able to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional sitting, bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing,

pulling and reaching.

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
