📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Engineer to join our Fortune 500 healthcare company's team. The ideal candidate will possess an high-level understanding of Front-End Frameworks, UI development, and a strong command of HTML, JavaScript, SASS, and CSS. This role requires someone who can optimize Front-End technologies and implement best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly applications within the Edison Digital Health Platform.
Qualifications:• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in UI design and Front-End development, with a deep understanding of UI/UX principles and healthcare application development.• Proficiency in Angular, ReactJS, Vue.JS, or similar frameworks with a focus on optimizing performance and functionality.• Expertise with HTML, JavaScript, SASS, and CSS to create visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces.• Ability to interpret design concepts into user-centric components ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience within healthcare applications.• In-depth knowledge of Web Components and Shadow DOM to create modular, reusable components ensuring encapsulation and compliance with healthcare standards.• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins and familiarity with AWS services like S3/CDN is advantageous.• Proficiency in implementing Unit Test frameworks such as Jasmine and E2E frameworks like Protractor, especially for applications developed in Angular (latest version).
Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate with a small, agile team to develop scalable, responsive, and high-performance user interface applications within the healthcare industry. The projects undertaken will be of significant visibility to our customers.• Translate design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive features, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards and regulations.• Ensure the highest level of codebase quality, maintainability, and scalability by implementing best practices and established coding standards in a close-knit team setting.• Actively participate in Agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation to elevate Front-End development.
