Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Team Leader for our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the Personal Lines departmentProvide feedback and foster growth through measurable goalsGenerate annual revenue by cross-selling, account rounding, and creating new businessMeet or exceed annual department customer new business and retention goalsProvide high-level consulting services to customers regarding their insurance coverageAnalyze customer’s loss exposures and determine coverage needsRemain current on marketplace changes and inform customers as necessaryManage renewal and marketing activity of the team i.e., expiration and cancellation reportsAssure coverage is in place and gaps in coverage are avoidedMaintain current knowledge of legislation and technical updates and advise customers of regulatory changes and compliance issuesDevelop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers through phone calls, personal meetings, seminars, etc.Act as the trainer and mentor to new teammates, assisting with onboarding and ongoing training initiativesFoster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & BrownEnsure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and proceduresAttend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skillsAlways conduct the highest level of confidentialityOther duties as needed

What You’ll Need

Current New Mexico Insurance License and appropriate Non-Resident Licenses2+ years of management experience5+ years of recent agency experience handling a broad spectrum of personal and commercial lines products and customersWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)Working knowledge of carrier websites (preferred)College degree, including management courses or the equivalent (preferred)Experience with Agency Management Software SystemsThis position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position
